Liang Lawrence (born 2001/2002, Devon, England) is a British-Chinese singer-songwriter based in East London. Known for her introspective lyrics and dreamy alt-pop sound, she blends elements of indie folk, soft rock, and pop with poetic storytelling. After self-releasing her debut single Santa Cruz in 2020, she gained traction through TikTok and two acclaimed EPs, letters to myself (2023) and What’s Dead and Gone (2024). In 2025, she was nominated for the Ivor Novello Rising Star Award, marking her as one of the most promising new voices in the UK indie scene.
